Gerry Madden has been teaching swimming lessons for 20 years in the family business which originally started in 1990.  Rose joined the business and became a partner 9 years ago and since that time they have now got married.  Over the years they have gone from strength to strength with the addition of more pools in the Berkshire area.  Together with a staff of more than 15 teachers they teach over 600 children a week. 

They offer a high standard of swimming tuition in a safe environment for children of all abilities from 3 years of age.  All the children's swimming lessons are taught in small classes with a ratio of 6 children per teacher.  The children enjoy their lessons by making it fun with their experienced and friendly water-based swimming teachers.  All teaching staff are qualified Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) or Swimming Teachers Association (STA) teachers with an up to date insurance policy, provided by the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches (ISTC).  The majority have either National Teachers Rescue or Life Savers Award and CRB checked.

G.R. Swimming Schools aim is to produce confident safe swimmers through their monitored programme, and all children achieving a high standard of stroke technique and water safety skills required to enjoy other water based activities.  We pride ourselves on our flexibility to give parents that personal touch as we can appreciate each have their own individual requirements and needs.
